Terms of service.
1. Eligibility
Open to participants aged 18 years and over.
Teams must consist of exactly four (4) members.
All team members must be registered and paid in full before the start of Week 1.
No team substitutions after Week 1 unless approved by venue management.
2. Entry & Buy-In
Entry fee: $600 per team, payable upfront before the start of the competition.
Allocation of buy-in:
$300 betting funds ($50 per week for 6 weeks)
$300 prize pool contribution ($50 per week for 6 weeks)
Entry fees are non-refundable once the competition commences.
3. Competition Period
Runs from Saturday 4th October 2025 to Saturday 8th November 2025 (6 consecutive Saturdays).
Each week will feature nominated races/events, selected by Settlers Inn Hotel management.
4. Betting Rules
Each team receives $50 betting funds per week, provided by the venue.
Bets must be placed only on the nominated races/events for that week.
All bets must be placed through the venue’s designated betting process by the specified cut-off time.
Unused betting funds do not carry over to the following week.
Winnings are recorded as “competition cash” for leaderboard purposes only — no actual cash payouts from winnings.
5. Scoring & Leaderboard
Scoring is based on total cash won from betting funds over the 6 weeks.
Results are tallied weekly and displayed on the in-venue leaderboard.
Leaderboard updates occur at the end of each competition day.
6. Prizes
The prize pool is made up of combined weekly prize contributions from all teams.
Final prize pool split:
1st place: 60%
2nd place: 30%
3rd place: 10%
In the event of a tie, the team with the highest winnings in the final week will be declared the winner.
Prizes are awarded as cash or venue vouchers, at management’s discretion.
7. Vouchers
Each team member receives a $20 venue voucher per week, valid between 1pm–4pm on competition days only.
Vouchers are non-transferable and must be redeemed in-venue during the allocated time.
8. Conduct & Fair Play
All participants must comply with venue rules and behave respectfully.
Cheating, collusion, or manipulation will result in immediate disqualification.
Venue management reserves the right to refuse bets or participation if rules are breached.
9. Decisions & Disputes
All competition decisions, scoring, and disputes are at the discretion of Settlers Inn Hotel management and are final.
The venue reserves the right to amend rules or cancel the event at any time.
