Here we go again! Setts will be open from 4am this Saturday July 4th as the Socceroos take on Egypt in what could be an historic FIFA World Cup clash for the Aussie team! The Socceroos have never won a World Cup knockout game, despite twice making it out of the group stage only to run into the eventual champions.
In 2006, the Socceroos were beaten by Italy courtesy of a last-minute penalty, while Lionel Messi led Argentina to a 2-1 win over Australia in 2022. Those losses came in the round of 16, while Saturday's game is a round-of-32 clash due to the 2026 tournament's expansion to 48 teams in total.
Join us for the ultimate match day atmosphere with the game shown LIVE & LOUD on the big screens, bacon and egg rolls, hot coffee flowing from kick off and yes, the bar will be open!
We had over 300 people come and watch the Australia v USA game and expect it to be busy again for the games against Egypt. Please book a table by clicking on the button below!
